I have long thought that the whole point of having oneās website (and incurring the expenses of domain registration and hosting) is being able to have your say without being subject to any restraints other than the law itself.
In the US, the highest law governing speech is the First Amendment.
While I could, and have, commented on other peopleās blog posts on their own sites, or used platforms like the Fediverse or Reddit, I have done so knowing that I was an uninvited and at best tolerated guest.
What I posted there could be discarded or edited at the discretion of the siteās operator.
But on starbreaker.org, I am the operator, and I will have my say regardless of anybody elseās objections.
However, I will not use this section merely to disagree with people.
